Are you sure the cable is original and works Because 'hocksmit' sounds strange to me. I don't mean to ramble on, but I'm just trying to give as much information as possible to see if anyone has had this problem and hopefully found a solution. It should be listed in device manager as a Microphone, typed 'Microphone (2- Rocksmith USB Guitar Adapter)' also, output error means the game doesnt found a speaker system, when it does not see the cable it writes 'No realtone attached' or something like that. I even plugged the old cable into my PC and it showed up as a recording device so it still worked.
